There are women who appear calm and smiling on the outside, yet inside carry childhood pain – pain from a heart that has been broken too many times.
They care for others, they are strong and helpful, but in their childhood or in their relationships, they were not heard, and their boundaries were not protected.
Sadly, life can bring experiences of pain – especially when someone has lived through emotional neglect or abuse in childhood.
And even now, women are more often affected than men by intimate partner violence – relationships where love was intertwined with fear, where closeness was mixed with control, and where the feeling of safety turned out to be an illusion.
Signs of Soul Wounds
You may not even call it trauma.
You might say things like:
- “I’m just too sensitive.”
- “I don’t know why I’m so anxious.”
- “I can’t sleep alone.”
- “I have nightmares at night.”
- “I’m afraid of unfamiliar places.”
- “I’m scared to be alone.”
- “I never feel completely safe, even around loved ones.”
- “I care for everyone else, but feel empty inside.”
These are the aftereffects of trauma – symptoms of post-traumatic stress (PTSD). They are not weaknesses.
Soul Imprints
A woman who has lived through trauma carries within her the Wounded Inner Child – the part of her who still longs for love, care, and tenderness.
Healing is not about forgetting the past – it begins with listening to what was silenced.
And when we do, transformation becomes possible.
It is the sacred act of meeting yourself and saying:
“I see you. I believe you. You are lovable and worthy of love.”
A Safe Space for Healing — Temenos
In our work together, I offer a space where it is safe to just be.
We do not rush.
We listen — to your story, your experiences, your body, your silence.
We gently explore your past, your relationships, your dreams, your longings.
And together, we find and welcome back the parts of you that were forgotten — and begin to bring them home to your soul.
You are not too much.
You are not too late.
You are already enough.
If You See Yourself in These Words
Please know: healing is possible.
Not because you will erase the past, but because it will no longer define you.
Because you are not what happened to you.
Because becoming a home for yourself is an essential part of the individuation journey.
🌸 Peace in your heart and soul is possible.
