Yesterday, I received a very warm letter that I would like to share, with the client’s permission and anonymously, of course.

This letter is a continuation of my article about things that make me happy.

Good evening, Iveta.

I don’t know how well you remember me — I think it was around 2018 when I was your client. But I was definitely the client who needed a new box of paper tissues on the table every time

I read your post and felt that I wanted to write to you. Actually, I’ve wanted to for a long time.

The news about your diagnosis (in your FB post) really shook me. Perhaps also because last year I myself was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Fortunately, it was in the early stages. The diagnosis definitely made me feel and realize very clearly how fragile life is — and how important it is not to keep inside what you have wanted to say for a long time.

A couple of years ago, during a training session, I had to name three people to whom I am deeply grateful. You were one of those three people. Because you helped me build a stable foundation under my feet. I have even told others that I feel as if I have built my own island on which I stand firmly. And no one has been able to knock this foundation out from under my feet. I also do not allow myself to be shaken.

My work on myself did not end when I left your office for the last time. It more or less continues to this day. And I also clearly realize that it was this foundation that helped me to accept my diagnosis without much turmoil, to draw conclusions, and to go through the treatment process without panic.

Over the years, I have finally recognized and accepted my hypersensitive nature, which I was so reluctant to admit even when sitting opposite you in your chair. But I have accepted it as my strength, not my weakness.

I just wanted to tell you all this—out of deep gratitude, which has not diminished to this day.

I wish you good health. And bright and pleasant moments every day.

With best regards…
